I don't really know much about breaks, but I went out to deposit my check in the bank. On the way home my brakes locked up and had to drive it like that all the way home. Lots of smoke and didn't smell very good, I'm sure people were wondering what the hell was going on. Probably thought I was spinning my tires hah.
Not so sure what to do about that but will find out soon enough

Ran into difficulties but straightened them out.
Spent around 8 hours straight in 100 degree weather setting up the sound system and wiring everything up correctly. We had to make our own brackets to mount the front speakers without drilling or cutting any holes whatsoever, and what we figured out is pretty ingenius. I had to perforate the back cover so the rear speakers would go through which was a very TEDIOUS task. It took me 2 hours with an exacto knife to get it just right.
We thought we were done and the sound is fantastic, so we decided to take a short cruise with our tunes cranked up. A few miles down the road the sound just STOPPED but the radio stayed on and we didn't know what the problem was.
I turned the AC on and the sound would kick back on, but stop when I shut the AC off. Turns out the battery was running at 16 volts with the engine revving which is too high and would immediately shut off the radio. Turning the AC on made the volts lower so the radio would work.
We charged the battery for a few minutes and all is well now though!

Weatherstripping time!
The weatherstripping came in yesterday and thank the lord I ordered the exact right kind. I just stripped off the drivers side door with a screwdriver (hard as rock, can tell it was out in the sun for a reallyyyyy long time).
Taking a break until it cools down because it's entirely too hot to do anything.

No more hissing brakes!
Just replaced the power brake booster with no problem at all, didn't have to bleed the brakes either. Ran into one tiny problem because the brake light switch stop working for some reason. Went out and bought another one for $5 so it wasn't a big deal.
Thankfully I can stop on a dime now without having to use the strength of 20 men to brake.

About time, good lord.
My break booster arrived today and I finally got an email saying my weatherstripping shipped. May take it to the shop to have the booster replaced today and bleed the breaks.

Rough day with family, but went to an audio store.
The guy said he'd put in 4 speakers, 2 front and 2 rear, along with a custom AM FM radio with an Ipod hookup. That seems to be my best bet so far because he said all of that along with installation will be $500.
